We are pleased to announce that for the 9th year in a row, we are partnering with Imaginea to bring you Suzanne West’s Steps to End Homelessness. Suzanne’s passion and determination to end child and family homelessness in our community was contagious and tireless. This year, we will honor her memory by continuing this tradition. We invite you to join us in making this the most successful Steps to End Homelessness to date.
On March 6th, 2018, Suzanne passed away following her courageous battle with cancer. Suzanne was an entrepreneur, philanthropist, warrior, engineer, CEO, sister, daughter and friend but most of all an inspiration to those around her. Her advocacy for children and families experiencing homelessness inspired her to launch Steps to End Homelessness. This year on her birthday, we will run for Suzanne and her vision of a community without family homelessness.
On Thursday, April 26th, 2018 at Crescent Heights Staircase (next to the Calgary Curling Club) participants will walk or run up the stairs and down the ramp to complete one “set”. Last year, over 600 individuals participated in this event, with a total of 6662 sets completed.
We are grateful for the support of Power of One Foundation which will donate $1 to the Inn for each set completed ($2 for seniors & expectant mothers, $1 for dogs).
