Meet Our Executive Team

With more than 30 years of experience across Canada and the United States, Heather has worked at the intersection of homelessness, housing, abuse, and poverty. A catalyst for change, she has built meaningful partnerships, including a groundbreaking collaboration that transformed an unused office building into an innovative family hub of shelter and housing.
Heather holds a Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of San Francisco and received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in 2022. Under her leadership, The INN has been recognized as one of Charity Intelligence’s ‘Top 100 Charities’ and HRD Canada’s ‘Best Places to Work’, and was fully accredited by the Canadian Accreditation Council in 2025.

Christine brings over 30 years of social work and non-profit management experience. She worked in senior leadership positions with Phoenix Youth Programs in Halifax and the YW Calgary, Sonshine Community Services and Inter-Faith Youth & Family Services in Calgary. Christine has bachelor’s degrees from Carleton University and the University of Calgary and is a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Christine is passionate about social justice, anti-oppressive practice, collaborative relationships, and advancing people’s understanding of homelessness. She acknowledges her settler roots and that we are all Treaty people with a responsibility to take meaningful action for true reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.

Jennifer brings more than 25 years of experience in business, primarily in the charitable sector. Prior to joining Inn from the Cold, she held senior leadership roles with Trinity Western University and the Calgary Dream Centre.
Jennifer believes strongly in the power of philanthropy and the impact it can have on families and communities. She is known for her innovative thinking, ability to build meaningful stakeholder relationships, and a proven track record of achieving fundraising goals.
Jennifer holds a Certificate in Leadership from Trinity Western University and is deeply committed to community involvement and volunteerism.

She brings more than 15 years of financial leadership experience across the not‑for‑profit, energy, and public sectors. Most recently, Nathalie served as Director of Finance at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Alberta and the Centre for Suicide Prevention. She has also held fractional CFO roles with Affirm LLP, including supporting Axis Connects, a Calgary‑based not‑for‑profit focused on advancing gender diversity in the workplace.
Nathalie is deeply passionate about serving the community and is strongly motivated by purpose‑driven work that creates meaningful impact.
She obtained her CPA, CA designation in 2009 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Calgary. Known for her outgoing and collaborative nature, Nathalie thrives on building strong relationships and working alongside others to strengthen organizations and the communities they serve.
