Claire’s Campaign 2017

Claire’s Campaign is Inn from the Cold’s annual matching campaign that runs throughout the month of May. Gary Nissen, long-time supporter of Inn from the Cold has committed to match donations up to $250,000 and Karen Zutter, Gary’s sister will match up to $100,000. We are asking you to support us in reaching our total campaign goal of $700,000. Funds raised through Claire’s Campaign will support the opening of Journey House 2 as well as the critical programming and operational needs for Journey House 1 and our Emergency Family Shelter.

We proudly acknowledge that we are situated on the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern AB. This includes: the Blackfoot Confederacy, made up of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations; the Iyarhe (Stoney) Nakoda First Nations, comprised of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations; and the Tsuut’ina First Nation. The city of Calgary is also homeland to the historic Northwest Métis and to the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Métis Nation Battle River Territory (Nose Hill Métis District 5 and Elbow Métis District 6).
