By definition, influence refers to “the capacity to have an effect.” At Inn from the Cold, INNfluence, speaks to the collective ability our community has in ending family homelessness.

For 26 years, Calgarians have INNfluenced Inn from the Cold’s ability to support those in need— families facing the brunt of a housing crisis.

This years’ INNfluence Gala theme is inspired by the transformative nature of the work that Inn from the Cold facilitates — enabled by the generosity of Calgarians.

At the Inn, we know that the generosity of our donors has the power to transform lives, because we see it every day.

This year, on the heals of our 25th anniversary, we want to capture the spirit of transformation through a vibrant, dazzling, and lively evening experience by leaning into a theme inspired by another transformative era — the roaring twenties.

We invite you to step back in time and experience the electrifying energy of the 1920s – a time of unparalleled transformation and revolutionary change. From iconic flappers to the legendary Gatsby, and the soulful melodies of jazz, the roaring twenties left an indelible mark on history.

Fast forward a century and we invite you to relive this exhilarating era at the 2023 INNfluence Gala – an event unlike any other. Join us at our reception-style gala, as we pay homage to the transformative nature of this decade and take bold action to end homelessness in our city.

Your ticket purchase will include: a welcome glass of Giggle Water, a signature cocktail from the Juice Joint and food provided by Marriott Hotels – where chefs will battle it out at action stations with a creative spin on vintage and modern takes of 20’s era eats! Guests will also be treated to entertainment, raffles, auctions and a night like no other.
