Help families and their children served by Inn from the Cold
Companies that would like to support Inn from the Cold financially this season can donate via Benevity.
Companies that prefer to work with us directly or to explore special funding programs to support children and families served by IFTC can contact Fund Development Manager, Jennifer English, at jennifer@innfromthecold.org or 403 473 2083.
Individuals who’d like to support Inn from the Cold financially can donate on our website or via Canada Helps.
We’ll apply these donations to the IFTC Family Support Program, which includes safe emergency shelter, long-term affordable housing, early childhood development and youth programming, family holiday festivities, and various social supports. All of these areas are crucial to helping our families work through trauma and supporting them as they get back on their feet again and stabilize.

Donate items-in-kind this holiday season
We are unable to accept any donated items in kind at our main building from December 23rd to January 7th.
We’ll resume accepting donated items in kind in person on Fridays from 10 AM to 3 PM beginning Friday, January 8th.
Supporters can continue to support IFTC by buying what’s critically needed on our Amazon wish list and arrange to have these items shipped directly to us.

We’re unable to take unsolicited or unscheduled donations and are unable to accept used items.
Sign up for a volunteer opportunity at Inn from the Cold
We’re accepting applications from people who are interested in remote volunteer positions.
Those roles include producing how-to-videos on a range of subjects. While most in-person volunteer opportunities are not currently available, there are some options available at our other facilities, such as our offsite commercial kitchen. Volunteer opportunities for the holiday season have already been filled.
