The Natefit Exposed 5K took place on February 28th at Eau Claire Plaza. This is the third annual event and it was adjusted to align with provincial COVID-19 guidelines.
Racers braved the elements and ran shirtless in support of helping us achieve our mission of offering shelter, housing, and coordinated supports to help children and their families achieve independence.
The event was a success, surpassing last year’s total and raising over $42,000.
“We would like to sincerely thank all the Natefit participants for helping to raise funds for Inn from the Cold,” says José Guillén, Director, External Relations at Inn from the Cold. “It is because of their efforts, and so many others in our community who choose to support us through third-party fundraising activities, that we are able to serve and support children and their families experiencing homelessness.”
Community members interested in fundraising programs to benefit Inn from the Cold can contact Fund Development Manager, Jennifer English, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 403 473 2083.
