Thank you Calgary!
Thank you to all the Calgarians who joined us December 9th at our Annual Winter Open House! More than 150 Calgarians came through our doors today; we were flooded with donations, support, holiday cheer and special guests. Your support truly makes a difference for children and families experiencing housing crisis in Calgary this holiday season.
A special moment of the day was when 8 year old Dexter came in to drop off the money he raised so he could sponsor Christmas dinner at the Inn. We are incredibly blown away by his generosity and kind heart. He raised over $700 from picking bottles around his neighbourhood and has made an impact on staff here and on the families who stay with us. Thank you Dexter, read more about him here.
