The 12th annual Steps to End Homelessness, presented by Tamarack Valley Energy takes place on Sunday, April 30, at the McHugh Bluff Staircase.

Are you ready to climb for a cause? The annual Steps to End Homelessness event is back and we can’t wait to see you there! This much-loved fundraising event brings together participants of all ages and fitness levels to climb as many sets of stairs as possible, in support of Calgary’s most vulnerable families facing a housing crisis.

We know the impact that the housing crisis has on families, and the struggles they face on a daily basis. That’s why the proceeds raised from this event will go directly to support those families experiencing the brunt of the housing crisis. With your help, we can make a real difference in their lives.

Following the event, challengers and spectators are invited to enjoy a BBQ sponsored by Spolumbo’s, a family carnival, and an award ceremony for competing individuals and teams!

So, lace up your shoes and join us for a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising. Let’s climb together and make a positive impact in our community.

ABOUT STEPS TO END HOMELESSNESS

Steps to End Homelessness was founded in 2009 by community advocate Suzanne West – born out of her desire to change the world and her commitment to advocate for the less fortunate. Suzanne’s passion and determination to end child and family homelessness was contagious and tireless.

This event is now hosted by Inn from the Cold, and held in Suzanne’s memory, with donations matched by Power of One Foundation — Suzanne’s charitable foundation now operated by her family.
Since the event’s inception, over $400,000 has been raised to support Inn from the Cold. We hope you will help us continue her legacy and join us to end homelessness on April 30th.
